GuideAI visibility benchmarks, from real scans
Most published AI-visibility benchmarks are survey data. Ours came from actually scanning 40 of the world's best-known software companies with the same engine anyone can run free. The average was 51/100, and five household names scored so low they're effectively invisible to AI assistants.
FAQ
What is a good AI visibility score in 2026?Above 65 puts you in the top tier — AI can read you, resolve you as an entity, and quote you. Under 40 usually means something mechanical is broken: AI crawlers blocked in robots.txt, no Organization schema, or no quotable answer-style content. Industry benchmarks vary; consumer-facing software brands we scanned averaged 51/100.
Why do big brands score badly?Because the blockers are technical, not strategic. Several billion-dollar companies in our index quietly block GPTBot and ClaudeBot at the robots.txt level, so the models physically cannot read them. It has nothing to do with product quality.
